Futureheads @ FROG

It seemed that EVERY indie kid in London was headed to Frog at the Meanfiddler tonight and all for the Futureheads! The queue went right around the block, and was way round the corner when we finally joined! So anyway, after a bit we realised that it wasn’t moving at all and, as we weren't 'guestlist', I'm afraid that we *had* to cut in line - oh the guilt! (We later saw the people who had been just behind us, they said they’d queued for 2 hours, and got in just in time to see the Futureheads at 1am!) Even those on the 'guestlist' had to do a bit of queueing - HA!

But enough of this - the 'heads were absolutely fabulous, they played the same set list as at the ULU, but without the encore. I - somehow - ended up right down at the front, but ducked out to one side so I could do some proper dancin' to 'Hounds of Love'. Just as it kicked in I spot a friend on the dance floor and we practically ‘high five’!! (Chr*st! Must have been quite tipsy.) but I do LOVE that song.

Then it was up to the Artrocker room to dance the rest of the night away.

Scensters spotted were; Eddie Argos, so probably the rest of Art Brut. All of Mando Diao, who were meant to be playing frog that night, but got the boot to be replaced by Futureheads and Mairead, ‘Queens of Noize’, (she is very short isn't she). The only Futurehead to appear at the bar was the bass player.
