Dogs & Komakino @ 100 club

To be honest Fringey just got the tickets to see DOGS on a whim, we were looking for something a bit different and wanted to check out the 100 club. And then, when we got there and were surrounded by 'haircuts', we had a few second thoughts. But the chap from the fabulous support, KOMAKINO, restored our faith when he started to harrang the arms foldy and too cool to dance audience, by commanding them to “clap you fucking cool bastards!” Hurrah!

Then Dogs came on and was stage invasion a go go, even having to stop 'Selfish Ways' half way through, (when the drum kit got knocked over). Yes we know their songs aren’t all that (just the same old scratchy catchy sub libs London sound that’s been kicking about for ages) but they were well entertaining live. They definately have 'something' and can only get better.

Also Johnny Dogs looks absolutely filthy.

(Afterwards we went round the corner for some gin (in Bradleys of course) and found all of the Special Needs there. They were wearing their "we're in a band" gear and dissappeared of to guest on John Kennedy's show on xfm.)
